Emerge Youth Conference Promo

5 years ago, I was asked to produce and edit a video trailer to help promote a youth event. It was a exciting to come out with concepts. Since then, every year has been a very good excercise for me to try out new ways of producing and editing.

 

All videos were done in the Avid DS Nitris and some of the effects were done on Adobe After Effects. It took me about 4-6 weeks to produce, edit, arrange the music and do the remixing. The entire project would have been about 30-40 layers of video, audio and graphics. I could not have done the project without the Avid DS Nitris.

Sadly, the organisation has indicated that they will not continue with the youth event next year. It is a pity, as it is a very exciting event and more than just hype, I do see people’s lives being challenged and changed.. especially the youths in Singapore.
